Laptops FAQ

What Happens to Your Old Laptop?

  1. All data is wiped or the drive is destroyed either by resetting the device, removing and replacing the hard drive (which is then shredded) or fully dismantling the device and shredding the hard drive.

  2. Devices are tested for possible reuse. If repairable, they’re rehomed

  3. Non-reusable laptops are fully disassembled. The plastics are pellatised and the metals smelted into raw materials for manufacturing.

No part is wasted, and nothing ends up in landfill.
